Marine Moms and Dads: A Letter from Karen's Son, Mocksville, NC www.MarineParents.com

Hello,

I am writing to let you all know the we heard from our son on February 19. He sounded great and told us a little about where he is stationed. He had been gone for 1 month and 1 day when we recieved our first letter. He said he is doing great but to please send things to write with, paper and envelopes. I really liked the idea someone gave on the site about preaddressing the envelopes.

Anyway he also said that the chow hall food was in his words "not to dang bad". He said that it was probably the best he has had since he has been in the marines.

Well I will go for now. This letter can be put on the site for others to read for encouragement. Until later my prayers and love are with you,
