After shutting down the antiquated message boards we had for 7 1/2 years (with 150,000 members), we knew it would take time to build back the audience that used those boards. Last week let us know we were well on our way because on July 18, 2012, we surpassed 20,000 members on Marine Family Network!
A huge debt of gratitude goes out to Sue Purschwitz, our volunteer director of Marine Family Network, and all the other volunteers who make the site what it is. From volunteer moderators who make sure the conversations are OPSEC compliant to those who are there as an online shoulder to lean on, every one of these caring people make a difference.
We could toot our own horn, but its easier just to hear what our users say:
Priceless resource! A help to so many, including myself! Nowhere does anyone understand, relate and love on families of those that are training and protecting our country like here! Blessing!
