Schools across the country send us donations and correspondence expressing their desire to support “the people who protect our country” through the Care Packet Project™.
We recently received letters and donations from three schools in three different states and we want to share their spirit of support with you.
Patriots from an elementary school in New York, a Catholic school in Illinois, and a middle school in Virginia all express the same sentiment: appreciation for the service and sacrifice of your loved ones. See below for their letters.
Elementary School in New York
Please accept the enclosed donation. Our students are hoping you will be able to put it to good use to send care packages to Marines in Afghanistan who may not be receiving any packages during their deployment. It is our small way of saying THANK YOU to all the men and women who sacrifice so much for our country.
We thank you to for all you do! It is truly appreciated by each and every one of us at ---- Elementary School.
Catholic School in Illinois
Dear Marine Parents,
Hi, I am a student at ---- School. This year we had a mission bank for your charity and, I am proud to say we have raised $200 for your service. Our school was hoping that this money could be used to help send care packages to the troops. We are honored to be able to help the people who protect our country. Our appreciation is unending and we cannot express our thanks. Thank you again for all that you do.
Middle School in Virginia
Dear Marine Parents:
Please accept this donation. The ---- School 7th Grade, Class of 2011, held a bake sale in order to raise money for your group, specifically for the Care Packet Project™. We would like the money to go to the cost of mailing packages, if possible.
Thank you for all your excellent work.
