The mission of "Get to Know Us" is to reach out to the "hidden military" and their families in our area. This includes all members of the community-based military, such as Recruiters, Reservists and National Guard, as well as family members of Active duty stationed around the world. The group serves as an informal way for the "military family" to share resources, encourage each other & learn about Red Cross services before there is an emergency. Occasionally there are guest speakers on topics of interest to military families. There is no formal agenda or officers.
Meeting days and times:
3 PM on the first Sunday of every month unless that date falls on a holiday weekend (ex. New Year's Day, Easter, 4th of July and Labor Day). For those months, a potluck is held on the second Sunday at the same time and location.

The meetings are open to
all military branches.
Childcare is NOT provided.
Regular meetings have water,lemonade,coffee or tea as the group desires. Potlucks are held once every quarter.

Any support group, organization or individual that solicits donations on behalf of the the MarineParents.com, Inc. Care Package Project™ will ask you, as the contributor, to make the checks payable to MarineParents.com, Inc. A receipt will be mailed to you from MarineParents.com, Inc. via US Mail to the address on the check.
