Support Groups: State Chapters of MarineParents.com
To qualify as a MarineParents.com, Inc, Chapter, you must meet the following criteria and/or agreements:
Local support group must be established and hold regular meetings.
Must have two coordinators willing to commit to regular meetings and becoming a chapter.
At least one coordinator must be a contracted volunteer with MarineParents.com, Inc.
Documents and mission statement must by filed with the secretary of MarineParents.com, Inc.
Meeting information must be updated and maintained on the web site MarineParents.com.
Support forum created and maintained on the MarineParents.com message board community.
Submit a quarterly report of meetings and events.
Hold two activities in a calendar year that promote an MPC Project or promote the use of MPC as a support organization for Marine Corps and/or other Military families.
Actively promote the support group meetings and chapter in a designated area.
Agree that all fundraising and drives must be done on behalf of MarineParents.com, Inc. and must have prior approval.
NOTE: A MarineParents.com, Inc. chapter is not restricted to limiting support group participation to Marine Corps families only.
