Bringing Prayer to the Soldiers In June of 2005, Lutheran Hour Ministries began airing The Lutheran Hour radio program on American Forces Network (AFN). The purpose of broadcasting The Lutheran Hour on AFN is to keep our soldiers encouraged with messages of hope and grace that can only be found in Jesus Christ alone.
