This is an e-mail that my 22 year old nephew wrote, which I thought should be shared with many people in light of all the antiwar protesting. It tells it like it is.

Regardless of what you believe our government's interests are in the war with Iraq, I beg of you to realize that our troops that are fighting in this war are fighting with the intentions of our peace and freedom and the peace and freedom of those who reside in the Middle East. Please keep in mind that our public actions here in the US while we are here able to live our lives like normal ARE SEEN by our troops (which include very close friends and family of all of us) while they are out selflessly risking their lives so that Middle East citizens and US citizens alike may live peaceful and ''normal'' lives. It hurts me to think that our loved ones have to witness back home this negative behavior towards their noble efforts and meanwhile, keep their vision of peace and freedom alive. I am by no means asking people to suppress their right to free speech, after all, I wouldn't be writing this without that right, but to PLEASE consider our troops' morale when exercising this right.
I also ask everyone to keep the troops in our prayers.
I love you and miss you and can't wait until you come home! Thank you for fighting to preserve my right to speak my mind! I STAND BEHIND YOU!!!
