Summer 2011 is here, which means the Dollar Campaign is back! The Care Package Project Dollar Campaign began in 2007 to raise the money needed to ship care packages in the summertime. Each summer, we find ourselves short on funds to send care packages overseas to our Marines in combat zones.

The current rate for shipping medium flat rate boxes to APO/FPO addresses is $10.50. Our cost for shipping 1200 packages in July will total $12,500. We can’t make this happen without your help!

Our summer Care Package Project packing date is July 23, 2011. Our goal is to raise the $12,500 needed for shipping in time for the July packing. We have just eight weeks to reach that goal and we're asking every web site visitor to send a $1 bill to MarineParents.com to help raise the funds for our Marines. Put a dollar bill in an envelope and mail it to the post office box below.
