We Need Your Help: Shipping Girl Scout Cookies® to Our Marines
We've Exceeded our Goal!
As of the morning of March 22, we've ecxeeded our goal of $5940 to ship the girl scout cookies to our Marine in Iraq! Ooh Rah families and supporters! Additional donations received for the Girl Scout Cookie shipping will be used to ship care packages in May, 2007. Thank you for working so hard to make this happen for our Marines! We'll be shipping March 31, 2007, right on target! Thank you!
This year, the Girl Scouts of Housatonic Council, Inc. in Bridgeport, CT have donated 400 cases of Girl Scout Cookies® to The Care Package Project™ (50 more cases than 2005; 100 more cases than 2004!). We need to raise $5940 for costs of shipping the cases of cookies to our Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan. Please help us reach our goal and make a donation today.
We'll keep a running list on this page of the folks that donate $200 or more toward shipping the Girl Scout cookies to our Marines (see below). Please indicate in the comment field or on your check that the donation is for Girl Scout Cookie Shipping costs. Thanks for your help!

300 Cases of Girl Scout Cookies® Shipped to Our Marines in March, 2005
 From 2005: The Girl Scout Cookies are on their way! Thank you to our friends and family that spent many hours on Sunday, March 20, 2005 preparing the cases of cookies for shipment to our Marines in Iraq. Photo courtesy of G.J. McCarthy photos.
The Girl Scouts of Housatonic Council, Inc. in Bridgeport, CT donated 300 cases of Girl Scout Cookies® to our care package project in 2005. Thanks to folks like you, we were able to raise the $4515 for the cost of shipping the cookies to our Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan.
