We've EXCEEDED our goal of $2200 for sheets to ship to Iraq!! We ordered them today and they'll arrive here in our warehouse the Monday prior to our packing day of August 25th. Because of the huge success, I've talked with Gunny Bob and we're now going to try to raise enough to add a pair of socks to each care package as well. We've gound a great price at $1 a pair for black, crewcut socks. We'll need $1100 more and we're well on our way!

The outpouring has been so tremendous--thank you all! Every Marine in Iraq appreciates your support! Thank you so much. The MarineParents.com Care Package Project™ ships 1100 care packages overseas to Marines in Iraq every 10 weeks. Notes from our Marines from the July shipment included tons of requests for twin bed sheets. We want to include a flat, twin sheet in each of the care packages that we ship out on August 25th.

With the help of the fantastic listeners of the Gunny Bob show in Denver, Colorado, we hope to meet or exceed our new goal in a few short days.
