Nicholas Daddy
United States Marine Corps: The Few, The Proud, The Marines

After 41 hours of labor, my son, Nicholas Sebastian, was born on March 3, 2003 (03-03-03 - lucky baby) at 9:10am in Plymouth, MA. He was 7lbs 1 oz and 20inches long. His father was deployed from Camp LeJeune on January 9. He was able to call me on my due date to see if I'd had the baby yet. I hadn't. He then didn't call until 5 days after Nicholas was born to tell me that he had received the Red Cross Message... in front of his entire batallion of 4300 men. Daddy just recently left Kuwait on the the USS Saipan and is scheduled to be back in North Carolina by the end of June. I can't wait for them to meet for the first time.
