WST West Record Dinner Attendance

WST West Record Dinner Attendance

Added October 15, 2018

On Thursday, October 11, and the Warrior Support Team hosted a free dinner for active duty/reserve service members and their family in the Liberty Center at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA starting at 1700.

There were over 100 guests served at the Naval Medical Center. 41 were served at the hospital and approximately 70 at the Liberty Center. This is the largest number of guests served since our West Coast Manager, Dale, took over in 2014.

"I was reminded by one of our guests at the hospital last night of how much our outreach means, not only to the patients, but also to their family and caregivers. It can be very stressful to see someone you love lying in a hospital bed. One of the wives came to me and thanked me for what we do. She said that it really meant a lot to her. Our dinner allowed her to stay with her husband instead of having to go out to try to find a restaurant in a strange city, eat in a rush and then hurry back. I forget that the NMC is not close to any shops or restaurants. There's a Subway and McDonald's on base, but that gets old pretty quickly." West Coast Manager, Dale Larson. and the Warrior Support Team would like to thank everyone for their continued support of these dinners. We look forward to continuing these dinners into the future. God Bless and Semper Family!
