Unit Information

The primary mission of Marine Aircraft Group 36 to provide all weather, day and night assault support aircraft capable of operating from amphibious ships, austere expeditionary airfields and forward operating bases ashore, as an integral part of the Aviation Combat Element of a Marine Air/Ground Task Force. MAG 36 is comprised of a Group Headquarters, Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron, two Marine Medium Helicopter Squadrons, Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron, Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron and a Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron.

MAG 36 is comprised of MALS-36, VMGR-152, HMM-262 and HMM 265.

Family Readiness Information

The primary source of unit/battalion information for spouses AND parents is the Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC) and Unit Hotline. The DRC will work with FR Assistants, FR Advisors and FR Volunteers along with the senior command members to make up the new Family Readiness Command Team.
