6th Motor Transport Battalion is a is a reserve battalion under the command of the 4th Marine Logistics Group. It is comprised of: H&S Co (Red Bank, NJ), General Support Motor T Co (Providence, RI), Bulk Fuel Transportation Plt., General Support Motor T Co (Las Vegas, NV), Direct Support Motor T Co. A (Orlando, FL), Det. 1, Direct Support Motor T Co. A (New Haven, CT), Direct Support Motor T Co. B (Lubbock, TX), and Det. 1, Direct Support Motor T Co. B (New Haven, CT).

Family Readiness Information
The primary source of unit/battalion information for spouses AND parents is the Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC) and Unit Hotline. The DRC will work with FR Assistants, FR Advisors and FR Volunteers along with the senior command members to make up the new Family Readiness Command Team.
Note: The DRC was formerly known as FRO and in some instances, the USMC Family Readiness Page has not been updated to reflect DRC rather than FRO.
