Unit Information
The mission of CLR-17 is to provide command and control, administration, communications, food services, services, landing support and terminal operations and security support to the MLG. Serve as the forward echeloning headquarters of the MLG or as the Logistics Combat Element (LCE) headquarters for a Marine Expeditionary Brigade sized Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF). Provide landing support, terminal operations and services support beyond supported unit organic capabilities, to the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) or smaller MAGTFs. Provide the Logistics Combat Element (LCE) for MEUs.
CLR-17 consists of: CLB-11, CLB-13 and CLB-15, Headquarters Co, Comm Co, Landing Support Co, Service Co, Military Police Co and Food Service Co. As of March 31, 2014, CLR-17 has been re-designated as Headquarters Regiment.

Family Readiness Information
The primary source of unit/battalion information for spouses AND parents is the Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC) and Unit Hotline. The DRC will work with FR Assistants, FR Advisors and FR Volunteers along with the senior command members to make up the new Family Readiness Command Team.
