Complete Care During Boot Camp

Complete Care During Boot Camp

From Health and Wealth to Religious Ministries

Marine Corps boot camp recruits receive the best training possible and are cared for throughout their thirteen weeks on the Recruit Depot. Every base, including Religious Ministries, is covered from injury prevention and dental treatment to recruit pay and the Thrift Savings Plan.

Recruit Lucas Cline, Platoon 1082, Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, studies his notes on August 25, 2014, on Parris Island, S.C. Recruits receive 58 formal classes covering topics from administrative issues to combat care and Marine Corps history. —USMC photo by Corporal Jennifer Schubert
