MPTA Helps Marine Mom, Amy, Attend Graduation
Thank you, Marine Parents Travel Assistance!
On Friday, June 27, 2025, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Amy, Mother of a recruit, to Parris Island for the recruit's graduation from Echo Company to become a Marine.
I can't thank MPTA enough for providing me with travel assistance to my son's Marine Bootcamp Graduation on June 27, 2025, from Echo Co. 2nd Battalion. Plt. 2038. It was a true blessing to see my son stand before me as a United States Marine. Experiencing all that both Family Day and Graduation Day had to offer was truly a Godsend. The long drive home (10+ hours) afforded me the opportunity to catch up with my son, hearing about his amazing experiences as I held his arm and told him how much I missed him. Even watching him sleep as he began his 10-day leave was a treasured moment. The memories of those days are invaluable, and it's all due to the generosity of MPTA.
