National Volunteer Appreciation Week: Recognizing our Heroes
Stephanie Bowling and Lynn Humphreys are volunteers who have reached two incredible milestones: Five years of service plus over 4000 hours each! Thank you to Stephanie and Lynn for your commitment to the organization!
Stephanie has been volunteering since November of 2017 with total service hours of 4106. Stephanie currently lives in Virginia with her husband, a retired Marine. When her son enlisted in the Marines, she connected with Marine Parents on Facebook and enjoyed the support and friendships made with other recruit parents. When the opportunity became available, she decided to volunteer right away.
Lynn has been volunteering since March of 2018 with total service hours of 4397. Lynn has been associated with the Marines since 1968. She married a career Marine who was a Vietnam and Desert Storm Veteran. She has four adopted sons that all served and are now retired. She also has Grandsons in the Marines. She hopes that her experience and knowledge of the Marines will help support the grandparents that are new to the Marine Corps Family.
