Ammie Hennigan

Ammie is married to her husband Rick and is a mom to daughter Cristina, and her 2 boys, Christopher and Thomas. She also has 3 grandsons Tanner, Jace, and Connor. Her youngest son joined the USMC in 2019. Ammie loves to spend time with her family and friends, playing games, reading books, swimming, and cooking. She is a lifelong Texan and loves to watch football.

Ammie volunteers because she loves to give back to others. She wants to be able to give support and encouragement to other Marine families like she was given by the Marine Parent Volunteers that help her navigate the ups and downs she had. As a military loved one, Ammie loved the support she was given during her time as a recruit mom and all throughout her journey with Marine Parents with each step that her Marine completed from poolee to recruit to Marine. Paying it forward is the most rewarding way that Ammie feels she can give back to others.
