Kristal, originally from Añasco, Puerto Rico, lives in Florida with her husband, Jesus Manuel. Together, they have built a beautiful family and are proud parents of two daughters and a son. She holds a Master of International Business Administration (MIBA) with a concentration in Human Resources and works in Human Resources Talent Acquisition, helping organizations find, attract, and nurture top talent. A passionate traveler, Kristal has visited multiple countries and loves learning from new experiences. She values a balanced life, dedicating herself to both her family and career with care and enthusiasm. Kristal is especially proud of her children, particularly her son, who became a United States Marine and once reminded her that she had not raised weak kids, a touching affirmation of the strength and values she has instilled. His service brings pride to the entire family and reflects Kristal’s dedication to resilience, love, and lifelong growth.
Volunteering is especially meaningful to Kristal because she knows firsthand the value of community support. When her family first entered the world of military life, the guidance and encouragement of other volunteers helped her navigate the challenges of seeing her son take on the demanding path of becoming a Marine. Their support answered her questions about training, safety, and the overall process, offering reassurance during uncertain times. Inspired by how much this guidance meant to her family, Kristal now volunteers with gratitude, hoping to provide other parents and families with the same encouragement and support as they navigate the joys and challenges of raising a service member.
